As a videographer, few moments are as rewarding as capturing the love, joy, and excitement of a wedding day. But when that wedding is that of my step-daughter's and her groom-to-be and takes place at the Blackwell Grange, nestled in the heart of the Cotswolds, the experience becomes truly extraordinary. This stunning venue, located in Shipston-on-Stour, is a dream setting for any couple, and I am privileged not only to be an excited guest but also to be their videographer to document their unique love story this comming August.
Blackwell Grange is the kind of place that will make every moment feel like a fairytale. The 16th century Thatch Barn, with its original oak beams and dreamy lighting, is ideal for the ceremony, while the contempory Orchard Barn is the perfect spot for celebrations. And let’s not forget the beautiful gardens, the loggia glowing with lanterns, and the Walled Herb Garden—all amazing backdrops for capturing those once-in-a-lifetime memories.
As the wedding day approaches, anticipation is high. The bride’s quiet moments in the Potting Shed, the groom’s deep breaths as he awaits the ceremony, and the heartfelt embraces of family and friends—every second is charged with emotion. All of these moments will be woven together into a timeless film. My goal is to create a wedding video that not only captures the beauty of Blackwell Grange but also tells the unique love story of the couple.
