The main difference is simply the duration of each of them.
The Highlights Package includes a 4–6 minute wedding highlights film that provides a stylised and cinematic showcase of the most exciting and emotional moments of your celebration.
The Feature Package includes a longer, 15–20 minute feature film. This feature film offers a more in-depth look at your wedding day, with more detail, emotion, and fun - all edited in a more chronological, story-driven style.
Both the highlight and feature films include snippets of audio from your ceremony and speeches, along with ambient sounds captured throughout the day.
I deliver a film of your wedding ceremony that starts with the procession (when your partner walks down the aisle) and ends after the recession (when you exit as a married couple). I record with a least two cameras so that you get multiple angles of your ceremony. In the UK, for most ceremonies I am not allowed to film the signing of the register, so this will not be included.
For speeches, I deliver a film that begins with the first speaker and finishes with the last speaker. There may be cuts in the film if there is a large time gap between each speaker.
The "Full Cut" edit - includes all the raw clips taken on your day - tidied (removing any duplicate or wobbly shots, for example) and assembled into single video files representing the different sections of your wedding day. All clips are left in their raw state (eg. with no colour correction) and in camera audio may or may not be heard. Ceremony and Speeches will not be included but there may some incidental clips recorded at those times. The files will be delivered via your online gallery or on a flash drive.
I keep your footage for a period of at least one year so you can even ask for this option after your wedding day.
Absolutely! I always stay for the same length of time and always film all of the ceremony and speeches. If, for example, you opted initially for the Highlights package and then later decided you would like to have the Feature package then that is ok. I keep your footage for a period of at least one year so you can even ask to change your package in the coming days after your wedding. This goes for if you wanted the "Full Cut" edit also.
I want you to have a stress free experience of having a videographer at your wedding and in that respect I aim to be as discreet and as unobtrusive as possible. I'll dress smartly but comfortably. I'll be in the background mainly looking out for the natural, candid moments so I won't ask you to pose or perform anything that you are uncomfortable with. I might ask you to repeat something that I have seen you do already or maybe something that your photographer had asked you to do. I may make small suggestions to you if I think something would look better on camera if done in a different way (finalising your prep by a window, for example).

For a Teaser Trailer, I usually deliver them within 10–14 days. For your remaining films, my target is between 6 and 10 weeks, but I always aim to deliver as soon as possible.
All films are delivered using a secure online gallery service, where you can easily view and share your films on mobile, desktop, or Smart TVs. You can also download copies for safekeeping.
You have one year to download the original HD versions of your films. After that, your films will remain available online in a mobile-friendly format for a further 9 years.

My films document your day - capturing the natural, candid moments. Your photographer will do an amazing job of capturing the more posed photos and so with the portrait sessions (both with your family and you both alone) I find it is much better to film the in-between moments whilst the photographs are being taken - the chatting, the laughing and relaxed moments between the posing - this is what I feel makes for a much more engaging wedding film.
Unfortunately not. Because your films are likely to be shared on-line we can't use unlicensed music. I do use a subscription website for the source of my music and I generally select a track that goes with the vibe of your day. They are usually orchestral with no lyrics. The story I build up for you is often timed to the beat or to hit certain emotional highs so I choose a track that best delivers this. I'd ask you to trust me on this.
Definitely! I create multiple copies of all the film and audio clips that I record on the day. One copy is also stored at a remote location.
My cameras also record onto two separate SD cards simultaneously for added security.
Drone footage is included at no extra cost. I usually use it as an establishing shot of your venue. It is of course weather, venue or location dependant. I can't guarantee that I can include it but it's such fun to fly that I will certainly always try my best!
Yes, my "Teaser Trailer" edits can be delivered in portrait format rather than the usual landscape format of my Highlights and Feature films. Please let me know your preference at time of booking, else it will be delivered in landscape format too. I will share them on my Instagram account but will also give you a copy on your online gallery so you can download and share yourself.
I will travel all over mainland UK to film your wedding. I'm located in Derby, Derbyshire which is close to the centre of the UK - ideal for covering most venues. If the travel distance is more than 2hrs away from my hometown then I will usually stay close to your venue the night before so that I can reliably arrive on time and be refreshed to film your day. I may ask you to cover the cost of travel and modest overnight accomodation in the overall package price.
My aim is for you to have a totally worry free experience of having me as your videographer. Although a hot meal would be greatly appreciated - and gives me chance to take a break (some venues do offer a supplier meal service) - I never expect it and will arrive fully stocked with my own food supplies.
Yes, I have full Public Liability Insurance and have extra drone cover insurance too. I'm happy to share details of these if your venue requires it.
